PIGGY BANK” SWEEPSTAKES RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. In order to enter the “Piggy Bank” Sweepstakes, you must respond and/or enter by the dates specified below and follow all instructions as set forth herein.  NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES.

2. In order to enter, complete the official entry form at any Central Ohio or Ohio Valley Banking Centers.  Or, hand print your name address, telephone number and the words “Fifth Third Piggy Bank Sweepstakes” on a 3x5 card and mail entry to “Fifth Third Bank Piggy Bank Sweepstakes”, 21 East State Street, 4th Floor, Columbus, OH 43215.  All entries must be postmarked or deposited in an entry box between July 14, 2008 and August 17, 2008.  Entrants need not be present to win.  One entry per household.

3. Fifth Third Bank is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or postage due mail.  No facsimiles, photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries will be allowed.  All entries become the property of Fifth Third Bank and will not be returned. 

4. A random drawing for 53 finalists will be conducted between August 18 and August 25, 2008.  Finalists will be notified by phone or mail.  Each finalist will win $53 in cash.  A Grand Prize winner will be awarded at an event on August 30, 2008 based on the person who guesses closest to or exactly the total cash amount in the piggy bank.  In the event a finalist cannot attend, they can view the piggy bank and it’s contents at the Fifth Third Bank State Street banking center, 21 East State St., Columbus, OH  43215 during banking center hours between August 26, 2008 and August 29, 2008 and submit their guess.  In case of a tie, random drawing will choose a winner.  The Grand Prize winner will be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability, which must be signed and received within fourteen (14) days of the date mailed/provided to the winner, or an alternate winner will be selected in a random drawing from the remaining finalists.  If any prize notification letter or any prize is returned as undeliverable, the corresponding prize will be awarded to an alternate winner in a random drawing from the remaining finalists.

5. No substitutions for prizes except as specifically set forth herein.  If for any reason a prize as offered becomes unavailable, an alternate prize of equal or greater value will be awarded.

6. No duplicate prizewinners are allowed.  Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash unless specifically set forth herein.

7. All taxes and other expenses not specified herein are the responsibility of the winner.

8. Acceptance of a prize shall constitute permission to use the winners name, hometown and likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensation.

9. Prizes and their estimated retail values are as follows:

a. 53 (fifty-three) - $53 cash winners
b. 1 (one) Grand Prize – amount to be revealed on August 30, 2008

10. Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of entries received.

11. The Sweepstakes is open to residents of the United States, eighteen years or older.  Employees of Fifth Third Bancorp or any of its affiliated companies, any advertising or promotion agency of Fifth Third Bancorp or its affiliated companies and members of those employees’ families are not eligible.
