Curing the Hangover: Part Deux
Curing the Hangover: Part Deux

Last week I told you that according to a recent study from China, SPRITE was the best thing for a hangover. So, why are sales of PEDIALYTE up 16%?

Pedialyte is the drink they give babies when they are dehydrated. It’s packed with electrolytes, and the reason that sales might be up is because adults are drinking it themselves to cure their hangovers.

On paper it makes sense. It has those nourishing electrolytes, and less sugar than GATORADE and other sports drinks. But I fear we’re coming very close to a “full circle” situation here people. We’re drinking PEDIALYTE to cure hangovers and wearing adult diapers in case of “accidents.” If strained carrots becomes a dip at a Tapas Bar, I’m going to start getting concerned.
