Heart-stopping! We use that phrase quite a bit. Of course we never want to really experience it. I had a near-miss yesterday morning… 4 deer came running out in front of me on Polaris Parkway here in Columbus. I wasn’t expecting them, it was raining, and when they jumped in front of me, I was scared. No, my heart didnt stop, in fact in raced! And later in the day, after I was able to laugh about it, I told a friend I was glad my heart could stand the shock. A healthy heart is easy to take for granted, but it shouldn’t be! February is GO RED FOR WOMEN month, and I hope that at some point you got the message that heart disease is still THE NUMBER ONE killer of women, and that it has encouraged you to know your numbers, and make any necessary changes to make sure your heart is healthy! I wish you good heart-health…and remember, I HEART you!!!!
