Stacy’s Celebrity Dirt

Don’t call her Jessica Simpson anymore?? Jess posted a photo of herself in her bathing suit on her honeymoon…and she looked awesome by the way. But the bigger news was that she captioned the picture “Jessica Johnson.” But, if she is planning to take her hubby’s name she still hasn’t changed her instagram name.

Cameron Diaz confessed a few months back that she had “experimented” with a woman and now people are trying to figure out who it was. There has been a great deal of speculation that it was with her good friend Drew Barrymore. Well Cameron is strongly denying that anything like that ever happened between she and Drew. In fact she says “That makes me want to vomit in my mouth” Cameron says that she and Drew are like sisters, so that’s why she takes offense to the idea.

So The View made the big announcement that Marvel will make Thor a woman in the comics. The actual Thor gets severely injured and becomes unworthy of his hammer, so a woman steps in the save the day. Okay, I am all for women being super heroes but I have to admit it probably wouldn’t draw me in. Are you a comic book fan? What am I missing out on here?

And speaking of super heroes, There is a documentary in the works called Batkid Begins, about the little 5-year-old kid who had leukemia and got to pretend to be Batman for a day. Love that little dude! He is in remission and producers are trying to crowd-source $100,000 to finish the post production. I don’t think they will have any trouble with that.

I am so excited that The Wonder Years box set it coming out in October. And I can’t wait to see the extras. Apparently there is a conversation between Fred Savage and Danica McKellar letting us know what really happened in the finale between Kevin and Winnie. Danica spills the beans on what the script actually said happened between the two. She said that the first draft of the final script actually read “Kevin and Winnie Make love.” But, apparently Fred’s mom was not happy about that, and it was taken out and left to everyone’s imagination.

Sheryl Crow says many of her exes made her feel small…but not like you might think. She says that when you date celebrities like Eric Clapton, Lance Armstrong and Owen Wilson, it might seem like you are all on an equal level, but one person always has to become smaller…and that person was always her. She seems to be over that now.

REVIEW: ‘It Follows’ is the best American horror film in a decade

In this image released by Brigade Marketing, actress Maika Monroe appears in a scene of It Follows, directed by David Robert Mitchell. “It Follows,” has been arguably the buzziest American film at Cannes next to Bennett Miller’s wrestling drama “Foxcatcher,” which boasts a far more famous cast and a major premiere at the Palais des Festival.

"It Follows" is a horror movie worthy of classic comparisons.
