Since 1971, Don and Carol Parker have been serving the community of Hilliard. Don served as Principal and Central Office Administrator in Hilliard Schools for 31 years and retired in 2000. He and Carol are very active with the Hilliard Kiwanis Club and the Hilliard Darby and Hilliard Davidson High School Key Clubs. Their greatest joy comes simply from participating as workers in hands-on volunteer projects that help others including collecting food for local food pantries and preparing and serving food at homeless shelters among others. Don and Carol’s commitment and dedication to the community of Hilliard, and the rest of Columbus, truly makes them hometown heroes!
