COLUMBUS, Ohio – A 10-year-old boy was listed in critical condition after being shot on the Southeast Side overnight.

UPDATE: Columbus police say Ivion’tae Stevens was shot by his brother, who found the gun in an alley behind their Studer Avenue home.

Police say patrol officers responded to 953 Studer Avenue shortly after 1:00 a.m. on the report of a shooting but no other details about the shooting were available early Monday morning.

The boy was transported to an area hospital.

Police gave no information on suspects or a motive behind the shooting.
