COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers got an overpowering performance from Josh Tomlin and blanked the International League South-leading Durham Bulls, 3-0, in the first game of a four-game set in Durham Thursday.

Tomlin (2-1) went the distance, striking out 10 and allowing only three hits without walking anyone. He needed just 89 pitches to down the Bulls.

Game two will be at 7:05 p.m.
