COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers held off a rally and beat the Rochester Red Wings 5-3 Tuesday night.

The Clippers took a 5-0 lead into the sixth inning, when the Red Wings scored two runs and chased starter Shaun Marcum (3-0), who still got the win.

Tyler Holt notched an RBI and scored a run and Nick Swisher knocked in two more runs for Columbus, which has won five of its last six games.

The two teams meet up again Wednesday night in Rochester.
