COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Indianapolis Indians scored four runs in the 3rd inning on the way to completing a four-game sweep of the Clippers Sunday with an 8-3 win.

The loss gets the season off to the worst start for the Clippers since starting the season 0-8 in 2001.

The Indians’ Brent Morel knocked in two runs and scored during the 3rd inning. Gregory Polanco, the top prospect in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization, went 3-5 scoring two runs and driving in two more on a two-run homer in the fourth.
