COLUMBUS, Ohio – A trio of Lehigh Valley pitchers combined to shut out the Clippers 4-0 in the opener of a four-game series at Huntington Park Monday night.

Ethan Martin (2-1) picked up the win out of the bullpen in relief of Jeff Manship, who was left with a no-decision. Luis Garcia pitched the eighth and ninth innings. The Clippers lost for the first time in Zach McAllister’s (6-1) eight starts.

The start of the game was delayed 45 minutes by rain.

Game two of the series starts at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.
