Man shot outside East Side bar

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Police are looking for clues in the deadly shooting of a man outside an East Side bar early Thursday morning.

Detectives say Henry Monger lll, 36, was shot as he walked out of the Comfort Zone, 6115 E. Livingston Avenue around 3:00 a.m. He was pronounced dead at an area hospital less than an hour later.

Witnesses told police they were not aware of any confrontation which would have led to the shooting, Det. David Dennison said.

The suspect is described only as a male black.

This is the 75th Homicide of 2013.
