Man shot to death in YMCA parking lot

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Police say they are looking for three or four men in connection with a deadly shooting outside a Northeast Side YMCA Wednesday afternoon.

Deon Johnson, 36, was found shot to death in a car in the parking lot of the North YMCA, 1640 Sandalwood Place, just before 4:00 p.m.

Detectives say witnesses told them three or four black male suspects may have driven away in a Chevy Impala.

Police say there was no connection between the shooting and the YMCA.

This is the 23rd homicide of 2014.
