Missing SE Side boy found safe

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A Southeast Side boy was found safe a day after being reported missing.

Columbus police say Kani Alllen, 12, was recovered by a police officer in Maybury Park, a little over a mile away from the address where he lived and was reported missing Wednesday afternoon.

Kani was in good health and was taken back to his grandmother, police said.

Kani Allen was last seen at home in the area of Petzinger and Courtight roads, around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.
