COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus police said early Thursday morning that a woman shot outside a Northeast Side apartment complex was not expected to survive her injuries.

UPDATE: Katrina Gregory died of her injuries at Grant Medical Center at 6:29 a.m. April 17, police said.

Katrina Gregory, 31, was taken to the hospital in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the upper body just before midnight, homicide detectives said.

Officers found Gregory in front of 879 E. Dublin Granville Road, police said.

Investigators said they had no apparent motive or suspects early Thursday.
