Woman’s body pulled from Alum Creek

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Autopsy results are pending on the body of a woman found floating in Alum Creek Monday morning.

Divers recovered the body after a bridge repair crew working in Academy Park, just east of downtown, spotted it and called Columbus police.

Authorities say the woman apparently was in her 50s, and her body had no obvious signs of trauma. Her name wasn’t immediately released.
