$30 million means 100 jobs

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Dozens of new manufacturing jobs are coming to Madison and Union counties.

G-Tekt North American will invest nearly $30 million in a factory in West Jefferson and a research-and-development facility in Jerome Township, creating 100 jobs when they open next year.

The company, which manufactures auto body frame components, heavy gauge precision stamped parts, dies and welding equipment, will invest $28.6 million on the two projects.

The new 173,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in West Jefferson will bring 23 jobs to the Region.

Expected to generate 77 jobs, the new R&D facility will be located near Plain City in Union County.
