COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus police are waiting on autopsy results on the body of a man found Friday in a Northeast Side dumpster.

Investigators identified the body Saturday as that of Nathan Birdsall, 32.

The remains were found just before 2:00 p.m. in a dumpster at Sierra Ridge and Ponderosa drives.

Police are treating Birdsall’s death as a homicide “pending concurrence from the coroner’s office or until evidence suggests the contrary.”
