Braves 7, Reds 4

CINCINNATI , Ohio – The Reds try to start up another winning streak tonight in the middle game of their three-game series with the Braves.

Andrelton Simmons went 3-for-4 with two home runs and a career-high four RBI to lead the Braves past the Reds 7-4 in the opener of the series at Great American Ball Park Monday.

Joey Votto drove in a run and scored twice for Reds, who swept the Cubs in Chicago over the weekend.

Bronson Arroyo fanned seven in five frames, but allowed four runs and eight hits as he fell to 2- 4.
