Craigslist killer trial to begin

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Jury selection was scheduled to begin today in the trial of man accused of being the mastermind and triggerman in northeast Ohio’s Craigslist killings.

Prosecutors have accused Richard Beasley, 53, of luring four men to a remote are with a fake help-wanted ad on the website, then killing three of them and wounding the fourth.

His 17-year-old accomplice, Brogan Rafferty is already serving a life sentence.

Beasley has pleaded not guilty to 27 charges.
