TORONTO, Ont. – Dominic Oduro’s late tally in the first half lifted the Crew to a 1-0 win over Toronto FC on Saturday.
Columbus (4-4-3) snapped a two-game losing streak.
The Crew play New York on the road on Sunday.
Columbus played without forward Jairo Arrieta, who was suspended for two games and fined him an undisclosed amount for a violent check on Colorado Rapids defender Drew Moor May 11.
The MLS Players Union says Arrieta will appeal the second game of the suspension.
