Lancaster store damaged in fire

LANCASTER, Ohio – A firefighter was treated for injuries he suffered when he slipped on the ice while battling a fire at a Lancaster electronics store in bitter cold overnight.

Authorities say the fire may have been started by some of the electronic products inside the Best Buy store at the River Valley Mall.

There was extensive smoke damage and the store will be closed today for cleanup.
