COLUMBUS, Ohio – A 35-year-old homeless man has been arrested for the murder of a man on the Hilltop last week.

Columbus SWAT officers arrested Edward Williams at an address on Shrock Road early Thursday morning on a charge of murder in the shooting death of Willie Kimbrough on Jan. 31.

An arrest warrant was issued for Williams on Wednesday, Columbus homicide detectives said.

Williams is accused of gunning down Kimbrough, 36, inside a building at 2405 W. Broad Street around 8:45 p.m. on Jan. 31.

Kimbrough’s body was found on the rear steps of the building.
