COLUMBUS, Ohio – Drugs or alcohol may have played a role in a deadly accident on the Southwest Side late Sunday night, according to Franklin County Sheriff’s Office accident investigators.
Ashley O’Dell, 25, died after he was thrown from his Pontiac Grand Am as it flipped on Brown Road, south of Hart Road, in Franklin Township at about 11:00 p.m., Sheriff Zach Scott said.
O’Dell was southbound when he lost control, left the roadway and rolled over, Scott said.
O’Dell was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Crash Unit is still investigating the crash, Scott said.
