Man shot during robbery ID’ed

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus police are investigating the deadly shooting of a South Side man during an apparent robbery yesterday afternoon.

Jeremiah Holloway, 42, was gunned down inside his Linwood Avenue apartment just after 4:30 p.m.

Witnesses say they heard an argument from the apartment at 1200 Linwood Avenue before shots were fired, then watched three men run from the home.

Police officers responding to the report of the shooting found Holloway lying on the front porch with wounds to the upper body.

He died at 5:10 p.m. at Grant Medical Center.
