COLUMBUS, Ohio - The body of a missing Columbus woman was found in a West Side park Saturday.

Police say Ciarra Elkins, 20, who was last seen Wednesday, was found deceased at Big Run Park just before noon, Det. Mary Battle of the Missing Persons Unit said.

Homicide detectives said Elkins had apparently committed suicide but the exact cause of death was not determined.

An autopsy was being performed by the Franklin County Coroner’s Office, Homicide Unit detectives said.
