COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Buckeyes are off to their worst Big Ten start after losing to Purdue 82-75 in triple overtime at Mackey Arena Monday night.

Purdue (14-2, 3-0) has won all of its conference games in overtime.

With Ohio State leading 68-62 with less than 2:00 to play in the second overtime, Courtney Moses, who finished with 24 points, and Sam Ostarello (22 pts./19 RBs) scored to get the Boilermakers within a basket, and Moses scored with 5 seconds to play to force the third extra period.

Drey Mingo, who finished with 17 points, scored to put Purdue ahead for good at 72-70 and after the teams traded baskets, Dee Dee Williams made a 3-pointer to make it 77-72.

Freshman Ameryst Alston scored 24 points for Ohio State (10-7, 0-4).

Darryce Moore recorded her first career double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
