E. LANSING, Mich. – Keith Appling scored Michigan State’s final six points to push the Spartans past Ohio State, 58-56, in East Lansing on Saturday.

Deshaun Thomas had 28 points on 10-of-20 shooting including six from behind the arc in the loss.

The 11th-ranked Buckeyes (13-4, 3-2) host Iowa tomorrow.
