COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Buckeyes’ annual spring football scrimmage has moved out of Columbus this year, giving university officials a chance to take a fundraising campaign on the road as well.
The 2013 LIFESports Spring Game, presented by Nationwide, is set for 1:00 p.m. Saturday at of 66,319-seat Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati because Ohio Stadium is undergoing renovations.
The game will consist of four 10-minute quarters with no kickoffs and each possession after a score will start on the 35.
Quarterbacks Braxton Miller and Kenny Guiton will be protected and will be wearing no-contact black jerseys, while second-year freshman Cardale Jones will continue to gain game-like experiences by not wearing a black jersey.

Tickets are on sale online, by phone at 1-800-745-3000, in person at the Athletics Ticket Office in the Schottenstein Center, or at any Ticketmaster location.
Ticket prices are $12 for general reserved seats and $5 for ages 2-6 with children under the age of 2 admitted free. A limited number of club seats still available and priced at $18. Ohio State students will receive free admission in designated student sections.
Saturday evening, the university will host an invitation-only fundraising featuring two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin, point guard Aaron Craft, the spring athletic band and faculty and researchers to promote But for Ohio State: The Campaign for The Ohio State University, the university’s $2.5 billion fundraising campaign that began in October and is scheduled to conclude in June of 2016.
The event will also feature speeches by prominent alumni from the Cincinnati area and across the nation.
Like the spring game, the campaign is also making its first trip beyond Columbus.
There are 4,550 Ohio State students and nearly 19,000 alumni in southwestern Ohio, which includes Brown, Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren counties, the university said.
