COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus is cooler than Ann Arbor, but not as cool as Cleveland, according to one Top 10 list.

MSN.com is ranking the city as one of the Ten Coolest Cities in the Midwest, citing eclectic neighborhoods, low cost of living, growing multicultural population and rising restaurant scene.

Columbus was third on the list, behind top-ranked Chicago and No. 2 Cleveland.

The website referred to Columbus as Ohio’s “style mecca,” as the home of The Limited and Abercrombie & Fitch.

Kansas City  and Milwaukee rounded out the top five; Ann Arbor was No. 6.

St. Louis, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Madison, Wisc., also made the list.
