I don’t know about your family, but my family and I find it harder and harder each year to find fun and unique gifts for each other. At this point, we all pretty much have everything we need (and are VERY grateful for that). So, imagine my surprise when my sister came up with an amazing gift for my stepmom Cheri and I for Christmas – a cooking class at Sur la Table! This past Sunday we spent two hours with an amazing group of people learning to cook breakfast classics, including eggs benedict! Check out the photos! We had the most amazing time, and we even were teamed up with another mother/daughter! Julie, her mother, Cheri and I kicked butt and had the best time learning to poach the perfect egg! The reward? Actually getting to dine on our fancy, cooked-by-us creations!
If you’re looking for a fun couple of hours to spend with your friends, family or even your significant other, try a cooking class! I can honestly say, I had no idea what to expect and had an absolute great day!! Trying something new really can be rewarding!
