You At Your Best

The Trisha Project (Week 1)
The Trisha Project (Week 1)

I can’t believe it!  I’ve made it a week!!  If you are still sitting on the couch, or just plain procrastinating, I’m here to tell you that the one step you take toward your goal is going to totally change your mood…and what you see on the scale!! I know the first week is the easiest; your body is in complete shock and gives in to losing some water weight, but man, I don’t care!  It sure feels good!

In one week and 7 workouts, I’ve lost 7 pounds and 2% body fat!!  Talk about motivation!!  I’m ready to DO THIS!  It’s much more than the scale though. In a weeks’ time, my entire disposition has changed!  I feel lighter, healthier and more energetic! I’ve lost the urge to take a nap every day after work and my skin is glowing again!!  I’m actually starting to feel like “Trisha.”

If you’re feeling “lost” and want to get your mojo back, start small.  Change a meal every week to veggies and protein, take the stairs instead of the elevator.  All of these small changes will add up to something big and get you motivated to move on to a more challenging goal. Love yourself and congratulate yourself on the small accomplishments and you’ll find yourself going back for more.

Thanks to James Buffington at Premier at Sawmill Athletic Club for putting together a program that’s been easy to follow and has challenged me at the same time. I’m working on what he calls a PAR 2 Personal Training program and adding a couple of days of classes each week with my girlfriends. I’ve tried an abs, glutes and thighs class as well as playing some Kinect at home in the evening and cutting down on carbs. It’s the easiest diet I’ve ever followed – protein and vegetables.

I’ve already connected with someone fabulous who I’ve challenged to make a change.  She knows who she is.  J  How are you doing on your own “ME” project?  I wanna know…moc.59ynnuSnull@ahsirT.  Talk to me.
