Christine’s Christmas, an annual holiday concert presented by Macy’s and held in memory of OSU student Christine Wilson will be held on December 9, 2017 at the Jo Ann Davidson Theater. Proceeds from the concert will benefit Make-A-Wish® Ohio Kentucky & Indiana and provide central Ohio kids with life-threatening illnesses with heartfelt wishes.
Christine’s Christmas is an annual concert featuring holiday music performed by Columbus’ finest musicians and singers. The evening includes a pre-concert reception with entertainment by The Klatt Brothers, food and a raffle with four-day, three-night stay at the Las Vegas Bellagio, Suite for 12 at the Ohio State-Maryland basketball game, An Experience Columbus package and a facial rejuvenation from Dr. Bernacki.
Since its first concert in 2004, held a year after the deadly 2003 OSU campus fire that took Christine’s life along with four of her friends, Christine’s Christmas has raised more than $850,000 for children’s charities. This year, the event hopes to raise more than $120,000 to support Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. With the average cost of a wish being $8,000, this goal represents 15 wishes granted for central Ohio children.
