The Columbus Symphony today announced its 2015-16 Pops Series. All Pops concerts will be held in the Ohio Theatre (39 E. State St.).

Hollywood Festival: John Williams Spectacular

Columbus Symphony Chorus – Ronald J. Jenkins, chorus director
As part of the CSO’s Hollywood Festival (November 13-15), the Columbus Symphony Chorus will join the CSO for a tribute to the six-decade career of American composer John Williams, creator of some of the most popular and recognizable film scores in cinematic history, including the themes from Star Wars, Jaws, Superman, the Harry Potter films, E.T., and Schindler’s List, to name a few.

Faithfully–A Symphonic Tribute to the Music of Journey and Classic Rock

DISNEY IN CONCERT Tale As Old As Time

Featuring the music of Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, The Princess and the Frog, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Aladdin, this concert pairs the CSO with four Broadway-quality vocalists to perform some of Disney’s most well-loved movie music complimented with high-resolution video clips from the original films.

Patrons wanting to renew current subscriptions can begin doing so on Monday, May 4. New subscriptions will go on sale Monday, June 8, at 10am.

Pops Series Subscription – Includes all six Pops programs to be performed at the Ohio Theatre. Subscription packages range from $138-$372.

Single tickets will go on sale to the public on Monday, August 3, at 10am.
