The Dublin Women’s Philanthropic Club (DWPC) invites members of the community to attend a complimentary self-defense class for women presented by members of the Dublin Police Department. The event takes place at the Dublin Community Recreation Center, on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. The class is free of charge and guests do not need to be DWPC members to attend.
The event, which includes classroom-style presentation with hands-on exercises and practice of basic self-defense techniques, is appropriate for women ages 16 and older. Attendees should wear casual, athletic clothing with tennis shoes.
