Halloween Hop is a free sensory friendly Halloween experience for those children who need it most. Seven years ago the Speech Language Pathologists at Columbus Speech & Hearing (CSH) created the Halloween Hop event to educate families with children who have special needs on ways to provide speech-language enhancing strategies and sensory support within a safe, fun Halloween event. We’ve created a Halloween experience that eliminates scary decorations, minimizes challenges that children with special needs often face and encourages participation at each child’s own level and pace.
Halloween Hop is being held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 on OSU’s campus and will include activities such as a magician, interactive musician, character meet & greets, crafts, quiet room and two trick-or-treat rooms with treats and small toys. Registration is required to attend the event.
