Lt. Stu Tudor is a life-long resident of Columbus and has served with the Fire
Department since 1991. On June 28, Stu was working a charity event at Crew Stadium
with “Get Behind the Badge” when he was struck by lightning. Stu immediately went
into cardiac arrest, but thanks to the reaction of those around him they were able
to regain vitals and transport him to OSU Hospital. Lt. Tudor is still hospitalized,
but continues to make strides in his recovery. Truly a hometown hero. For more
