For most of her career, Karen Deberry has spent her time working with those who are less fortunate. Karen has served as Executive Director of Project Linden, which provided outpatient alcohol and other drug treatment and prevention services to youth and adults in the Linden area. In November, Karen and the Board of Directors made a decision to merge with Columbus Area Incorporated in an attempt to address the multiple needs of residents of the Linden area. Karen Deberry’s commitment and dedication to the community of Linden, and the rest of Columbus, truly makes her a hometown hero!
