A resident of Granville, Mark Rine has worked for the Columbus Fire Department since 2006. In 2012, Mark was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer. In 2014, Mark and his brother started the SKNLUV Foundation that provides education and prevention from melanoma. Mark has also been influential in House Bill 292, which will provide recognition of cancer in the fire service and allow benefits for those first responders.
