“Others who can’t care for themselves should be served by those who can.” That’s the motto Marysville’s Nevin Taylor lives by each day. Nevin is a retired agriculture
education instructor who also coached softball and football at Fairbanks High School. In 2008, Nevin was named a National Education Educator of the Year
runner-up, and, in 2011, was inducted into the Agriculture Hall of Fame for Ohio. He has been a volunteer bloodmobile host for over 86 different blood drives with
the American Red Cross and has been inducted into the Elks Hall of Fame twice for his community development efforts. Nevin currently serves as President of
Marysville’s City Council and has been a City Councilman for 14 years. Nevin Taylor’s service to others over service to self and his dedication to the
community of Marysville truly make him a Hometown Hero!
