Pastor Ed Jackson has served his country and community in many ways. He served in the Marines during World War II and was a State Trooper for 22 years. In 1970, Pastor Jackson decided to leave the state patrol and embarked on many missionary trips, including a trip to Alaska. When he returned to Ohio, Ed became a full-time pastor at Grace Brethren Church in Powell. Pastor Jacksonlater developed what we now know as the Yokefellow Ministry, an international organization for mission work. Ed Jackson’s service to his country and community of Powell truly make him a hometown hero!
