COLUMBUS, Ohio – A statewide Amber Alert has been issued in Ohio for Elinor Trotta, 3, abducted by her non-custodial father, Michael Trotta, 39, from New Castle, DE, Monday evening and believed headed to Ohio.
Michael Trotta is believed to be armed and dangerous.
He described as 5’8”/160 lbs., balding short haircut, scruffy beard and mustache, last seen wearing all black clothing. He fled the scene in a 1989 gray Mazda 626 bearing Delaware registration 247457 (Similar vehicle picture at right).
Elinor weighs approximately 60 pounds, is heavy set with brown shoulder length hair and was last seen wearing a purple puffy coat, pink pants and “Frozen” sneakers.
The incident began as a reported domestic related carjacking. The reporting person advised that her ex-boyfriend came to her home, assaulted her, and took their 3 year old daughter.
