COLUMBUS – The Columbus Clippers return Tuesday to Huntington Park, which will be open at its full 10,100-seat capacity for the first time since 2019.
The coronavirus pandemic cancelled the minor league baseball season in 2020.
The Clippers begin a 12-game home stand with six games against the Toledo Mud Hens, to be followed by six games against St. Paul Saints.
No official masking or social distancing requirements will be in place, team officials said.
Tuesday also marks the return of Tansky Tuesday’s Dime-A-Dog Nights.

Columbus City Council Monday approved a measure that would award $100 to up to 2,750 people who receive COVID-19 vaccinations, beginning Tuesday.
Residents will get $50 when they receive their first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine and another $50 when they get the second shot.
The funds were made available through a $275,000 grant from the Columbus Urban League.
Over 46% of eligible Ohioans have gotten at least one vaccine shot as the state prepares for the fourth of five scheduled Vax-a-Million vaccination incentive drawings Wednesday.
The Department of Health says 3.4 million adults entries have entered the drawing for the $1 million cash prize and 150,187 teens age 12 to 17 years have entered the drawing for a college scholarship. That represents 66,000 more adults, and about 6,500 teens since last Wednesday’s drawing.
The deadline for entering the final drawing, scheduled for June 23, is Sunday at midninght.
