The Akron Beacon Journal reports Summit County Health Commissioner Gene Nixon identified the others as a bridesmaid’s husband and three children of bridesmaids who didn’t have direct contact with Amber Vinson. Two other people are reportedly quarantined are in Cuyahoga County.

Vinson, 29, visited family in the Akron area last weekend, then flew from Cleveland to Dallas Monday.

Meanwhile, Vinson’s family has released a statement claiming she followed protocols while treating Thomas Eric Duncan, who died at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.

“Amber is a respected professional and has always had a strong passion for nursing. She followed all of the protocols necessary when treating a patient in Dallas,” Lawrence Vinson, Amber’s uncle, said in a statement released through Kent State University, where Amber Vinson graduated and where some of her relatives are employed.
