COLUMBUS – The Clippers came from behind and beat the Indianapolis Indians 7-6 Tuesday on a two-out two-run single by Tim Federowicz in the ninth inning.
Jon Edwards (2-2) allowed two runs to score in the bottom of the eighth as the Indians rallied from a 5-1 deficit to take the lead but Federowicz sent a ground ball to center field off losing pitcher Clay Holmes (2-1), scoring Trayvon Robinson and Eric Stamets to retake the lead and Edwards retired the side in the bottom of the ninth for the win.
The two teams conclude their three game series at Victory Field Wednesday afternoon.
