Fury snap out of 6-match slump

COLUMBUS — The Fury broke their six-match losing streak with a four-set win over the league-leading Atlanta Vibe Friday night at Nationwide Arena.

A couple of newcomers led the way as Columbus (6-11) bounced back from a 25-23 first-set loss to win the next three sets (25-20, 25-22, 25-21).

Kendall Kipp recorded a season-high 25 kills in her third match with the Fury.

Jenaisya Moore earned her first double-double on the year in her second start of the season with 10 kills and 14 digs.

The Fury will be back in action April 26 when they host the Orlando Valkyries on First Responders Night at Nationwide Arena (7:00 p.m.).
