COLUMBUS – Police say they are investigating the death of a man inside his Galloway home as a homicide, the 45th of the year in Columbus.
Officers went to Kenneth Ramsey’s home at 5913 Oreily Drive just before 3:20 p.m. Thursday to check on him after co-workers said he missed several days of work and they were unable to contact him, Sgt. James Marable of the Homicide Unit said.
Officers found the 58-yearold man unresponsive and summoned Columbus Division of Fire paramedics who pronounced Ramsey dead at the scene, Marable said.
Police did not release information on what may have caused Ramsay’s death or any suspects or motive.
