COLUMBUS – Lenyn Sosa drove in four runs to lead the Charlotte Knights over the Clippers, 8-2, Saturday night at Huntington Park.
Sosa’s double to left in the seventh inning brought in two runs, erasing a 2-1 Columbus lead and putting the Knights in front for good.
Sosa also was awarded RBI for drawing bases-loaded walk in the second inning for the game’s first run and for hitting another RBI double in the eighth.
Lincoln Henzman (1-0) got the win for Charlotte.
Philip Diehl (1-1) took the loss.
David Fry hit a solo home run for Columbus.
