COLUMBUS – Police have arrested a a 21-year-old East Side man after an apparent romantic triangle ended with a fatal stabbing Thursday night.

Police officers called Nelson Park on a report of a fight and stabbing at approximately 11:06 p.m. Thursday found Savon Lamont Ligon lying on the lot, suffering from apparent stab wounds, Homicide Unit Sgt. Jeff Strayer said.
Ligon, 20, was taken to Grant Medical Center in serious condition and died at 1:08 a.m. Friday.
“Investigation revealed that the altercation stemmed from an in-common relationship both were involved in,” Strayer said.
Murder charges were filed on Curtis and he turned himself in Friday afternoon at Columbus police headquarters and was taken to the Franklin County Jail, Stray said.
The investigation continues.
