COLUMBUS – While the opening night of the 2019 NFL draft was a very different experience for Browns fans, it was same-old same-old for the Bengals and Steelers.

Instead of going for a quarterback or a linebacker, as some predicted, the Bengals revisited their years-long effort to fix their offensive line in the first round of the draft.
The Bengals took Alabama tackle Jonah Williams with the 11th overall pick, right after their biggest rival swooped in and got a linebacker they valued.
The Steelers moved up in the first round to select Michigan linebacker Devin Bush with the 10th overall pick.
Meanwhile, in Cleveland, John Dorsey only traded text messages.
The Browns’ wheeling-dealing GM, who has overturned his roster with numerous trades over the past year, didn’t make a deal to move up and will start the second day holding onto his second-round pick.
The Browns may still be in the market for one of the top cornerbacks still available.
