COLUMBUS – It was an all-Ohio finish in the women’s divisions at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon and Half Marathon Sunday.
Children’s Hospital registered dietitian Sakiko Minagawa, of Westerville, won the marathon in 2:41:22, about three minutes ahead of Emma McGarron, of Mansfield. Ashton Swinford, of Hudson, finished third.
Molly Bookmyer, of Columbus, won the women’s half-marathon with a time of 1:12:29 and Kristoffer Mugrage, Alamosa, Colo., won the men’s marathon, finishing in 2:17:05.

More than 8,000 athletes, ranging in age from 12 to 91, participated in the event and organizers estimate 100,000 spectators were on hand.
The race raised more than $600,000 for Nationwide Children’s Hospital bringing the total amount of money raised by the event since the partnership with the hospital began in 2012 to more than $11 million.
